8.30- 10:15 A.M:         Reading Buddhist Scriptures. Attending to administrative work

and Buddhist Book Service

10:15 -11:30 A.M:       Preparing food for the Lunch Alms giving.

11.30- 11:50 A.M:       Offerings and Lunch Alms giving to the Buddha .

11.50- 12:30 PM:        Lunch

12.30- 1:30 PM:          Devotional preaching to the Devotees and Blessings.   

1.30 - 2:30 PM            Break/ Leisure

2:30 – 5:00 PM            Administrative work and interviewing Devotees

5:15- 5:30 PM:             Offering Gilan Pasa to Buddha (Evening tea/soft drinks)

 

5:30 – 6:00 PM            Cleaning the Shrine Room

6:00 -7.30 P.M            Offerings to Buddha & Chanting of Gathas (Stanzas/Devotional Hymns).

7:30 -8:15 P.M:            Chanting Pirith and Blessing the Devotees  

8:15- 8:30 P.M:            Offerings to Gods.

8:30- 9:15 P.M:            Discussion on the day’s events and end of day’s program.

Week end Programs

Saturday and Sunday, Morning till Noon:

Attending Alms giving/s, Dharma Sermons and Chanting of Pirith at the residence of Devotees  

Saturday:

          2:30 – 5:30 Blessing the sick and elderly Devotees at hospitals and homes.

          5:30 – 7:30 Open house Meditation Program.

Devotees are required to call before coming.

Sunday:

          3:00 - 5:30 PM Dhamma (Religious) School at the IBC

          5:30-6:30 PM Vandana (Worship)- Special Puja

Last Sunday of every month:

Poya (full Moon) Day program:

8:00---8:30:     Devotees observing sill (Eight Precepts) and Worshiping Buddha

8:30-- 9:00:      Breakfast Alms giving.

9:00- 10.00:     Meditation (Fostering Mental Culture) - On Loving Kindness
